The Global Village is a set of Apartments here at Akita. Easily within walking distance of the dining hall and the lecture buildings. I've given you the tour of my room, now I need to give you a tour of the campus. You'll see a squat square building, which is where we do the laundry.
The buildings aren't the prettyiest things in the world, the outside wood looks pressure treated. Though pressure treated wood has kind of a weird color, I think, it does an excellent job at resisting bugs and weather.
Actually the architecture isn't unlike my condo back home, square with a flat roof.
