Typhoon Troubles

Storm of the Decade

A typhoon has made landfall on Japan, and it's causing all sorts of trouble.

Well trouble in Tokyo, in Akita we've seen a lot of rain yesterday and today, but we're not expecting a whole lot of chaos and mayhem. We're on the West side of the island, and the storm's coming in from the East. Also it's hitting the very southern end of Japan, we're up North, so at worst it's going to be a very wet weekend.

Already though we've gotten a bit of flooding on campus, and the rains been really coming down. The wind has been completely calm though, and no signs of lightning or thunder. It may get worse come Saturday, but I pray that those in southern Japan come through the storm alright.
